Beat me to the Venice comment punch.

My line is that you managed a good camera angle to avoid every thing else.

When my family visited from Wisconsin they had the same looks.
A bit of a shock for the newbies.

You will notice the shore and everything on it are not in the pic.

Sad but true.
Hope trip was worth it though.
There are still "normal" ones out here in Cal.

I guess this may be the reason for the beach comments, is the water really that bad ?

Venice AKA "The Walk of Life" is known for the freak show/street performers/muscle heads/skaters.... And of course the Santa Monica Pier & The Third Street Promenade ....  There are much better beaches for water sports...

Chicago

Love that City.

SFO sucks now.  :barf:
It used to be so great 30-40 years ago.

SF sucks?
Or SFO sucks?

I'm through SFO once a month and for a big airport I think it's far superior to LAX and a lot of others.

SF sucks, dirty and smell bad like a toilet in many places. I take Uber or walk before taking public transportation.

SFO sucks because poorly designed circulation around the airport and very long lines going through TSA. I will need to go through there on the Labor Day weekend. Not looking forward to it.

I see your fuel gauge looks just like mine....

That's the natural state of those.  That's why they always move in that direction

I'm doing a ton of scouting.  blown off all work. Blown off most all responsibilities.
This is the Royal Gorge Park that I am scouting in.  The drop in front of me is over a thousand feet.
