1970 Challenger 318LA I'm looking for recommendations for valve covers. I have a set of original chrome mopar valve covers, the driverside top hole has a split near mating surface. I've look to buy new ones but I guess they don't make them anymore. I like the new mopar valve covers that have two oil caps but they don't have baffles where the Pcv and carb hose go. If you guys have pictures or ideas on what I can use that would be awesome. I thought maybe I could have the split welded but I figured it would warp the mating surface. Thanks

If you are using stock heads the Valve cover rail is never flat so the alum covers are difficult to seal & often crack , you could get some used covers from a wrecker or just pick up a set like these https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1967-89-MOPAR-SMALL-BLOCK-318-340-360-SHORT-STEEL-VALVE-COVERS-BLACK/262006950338?hash=item3d00d4c9c2%3Ag%3Ass8AAOSwDNdVz8kS&_pgn=2&_sacat=0&_nkw=Mopar+340+valve+covers+&_from=R40&rt=nc

You can use any 273, 318, 340 or 360 valve cover on your engine.  You should be able to find something in a salvage yard.  The benefit of using a stock valve cover is that it will have provisions for the stock plug wire separators.
