You're right, that stuff shouldn't be done, for any reason, period. BUT, look at it as Darwinian eh? No helmets means no brain connection- say, maybe I'm on to something here! We'll expand that no helmet law to all politicians, too! Problem potentially solved!

Not a religious person, so maybe it's easier for me to say this...but...
When it comes to a laws like helmets and seat belts, maybe put the safety gear on, and keep yourself safe, so you can practice your religion later....

I can't believe the changes in the world and the people in my lifetime. Most of which in the last 10 years seem for the worse. All this anti American and crazy liberal ideas and now American Politicians pushing Socialism. It is just crazy-not looking good for the future of our country or the world for that matter.

A few years back a woman here in Iowa ended up in a river with her two young boys strapped in their car seats. Luckily there was someone right behind her that saw her go in.  Both kids were saved that day.  I think it was raining and the police assumed she lost control and it was an accident.

Fast forward a year or two.  Police are called to a wooded area where they find the two kids tied to trees with stab wounds.  The mother claims they were abducted.  One of the kids dies from their injuries.  Turns out the mother has Munchausen by Proxy and did this to her own kids.

She drove her SUV into the river on purpose a few years prior...
