I hate it when life intervenes with my 70 project, but on the bright side:
It didn't hit the house
It didn't hit the deck
It's a massive amount of firewood for the shop (next season)
It's great BTU output (an old growth, 65' tall, split growth pear tree)
It's therapeutic fall exercise

Shooting my new M1

Nice M1 what? Grand, Carbine?
M1A 22" tube. Semi 308. I figured I better buy something to shoot because Trudeau says he is gonna come take my AR15. :verymad:

Coaching 7th grade youth football.  Last game of the year.  Kids played tough but the other team had us by 25 pounds per kid.  They were huge.  Good fun though.

Now I have to go load the ammo for this deer season sight in for me and the kids.

Working on the car kept me from making any Highpower or 1000yd/Palma shooting matches this year.   Just not enough daylight....

Hanging on the monster scaffolding on my side porch, trying to get the rafters in and some sheets on the roof before the rain hits. I'm gettin' too old to hoist 3/4" plywood sheets up 20 feet and I'll have to sell the Stairmaster since I've already gone up and down what feels like 10,000 of the sob's so far! I DO look in the window at the old gal as I'm hammering though!
