@Spikedog08  has agreed to let me share this news with everyone here.  I'll leave it up to him about how much details he wants to share, but Dave has been diagnosed with Cancer.  When I found out I was speechless.  I'm still in shock about the news and having a hard time processing it.  Right now I'm asking everyone to please comment and let Dave know that he is truly loved and he's not in this alone in this battle.  Share any thoughts, experiences or words of encouragement.  Let's shower Dave with positive thoughts, prayer and words of support so he's knows that his brothers and sisters are here for him.

My wife and I are both cancer survivors. It can be a very lonely feeling, so take advantage of any support you receive. My experiences have been that the medical people were all very good to work with. The profession has had a quantum leap, in treatments, in the last few years.

Dave, sorry to hear this. My fiancee is going through chemo right now for breast cancer. One person does not get cancer alone, everyone they touch gets it with them to some degree. We are all in this together. All my best to you.
