I will be changing the tail stripe to red so it falls in with the colour scheme of my Challengers. I'm also going to go back to the original hood.

Good plan on changing the hood.  Once you see how  black stripes look on top of black paint, I think you'll change your mind.  Red stripes look great but flat black stripes on a black car look 

I've seen how it looks. I've seen and driven the car. The black stripes on a black car have never been my favorite. To me they're not very visible so what's the point. My 74 is black with red accents and my 12 RT is black with red stripe so a red stripe on this one just makes sense, to me anyways.

I say change the 74 & the 12 to match the 68.....  But thats just my opinion... Of course I'm right so you should keep that in mind....

C'mon Diamond Jim, you can't compare my rusty F150, 300k Camry, flat black 7/8ths assembled Challenger and my wife's Passat to your 3, yes lads, count 'em- 3 Challengers and now that sweet honey of a '68 Charger!! YOUR problem is that you can't clone yourself so that you could drive them all at the same time, ya damn old farmer!

I just did a double take on the flat black stripes and my goodness those do look flipping awesome.  I don't know what kind of hoods they come with so keep putting pictures up as you go.  1968 charger, I can't think of a better year for a charger.
