I don't recall seeing that before either 
Oddly I was on dirt the other day & was able to get the tires to squeal so it is possible if the dirt is hard packed

I'm sure you've driven in alot of dirt.

Upper Canada, and now Panama; dirt roads are your norm.
I never saw an Asphalt road when I went to Dawson City.
When we reached middle Canada, we saw less and less asphalt roads.

Ya gotta be an expert at flailing gravel/dirt by now.
