Not Hi-demand thats for sure. But was a Big block and the original selling deaier is still in biz,,,  64 Newport  :woohoo:

Do you really? Maybe my eyes aren't what they used to be anymore.   :-[

My aunt had a '64 Coronet back in the day with a push button tranny. I thought that was the bomb! It also had push buttons to the right for heat, defrost, vent, and that is as far as my memory goes, but there had to be more buttons.

Eh ya... this thing was push button central!

I used to have a 64 Valiant station wagon with 273 and push button automatic... it was indestructible!

Is there a safety feature preventing pushing the reverse button while going twenty mph?

I only saw one once as a kid.  I think these were the selector buttons.  No choice for "Park" from what I remember.

Yup, you can just see the bottom of the slot for the park lever in that picture.... As you push the lever down the neutral button automatically depresses & the parking pawl engages....
