:Thud:

I attended over 150 concerts back in the 70's 80's & 90's , the earliest concert tickets were in the $8-$12 range...   The Doobie Bros, Heart, ELO, Eagles Hotel California tour, Queen, Blue Oyster Cult, Yes, Tom Petty, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith.......................................The last concert was  The Eagles Hell Freezes Over tour, I think I paid $85 for that... I know the Pink Floyd Division Bell ticket was $75...  It seems ticket prices have gone crazy.....  Don't think I could afford to re-live my youth...

^^ Same. I think Day on the Green in the 80's was $17?? Took my son and best friend to see Iron Maiden in Oakland last September, the tickets were about $100 a pop. Wish more of the artists we like saved up more for retirement... not sure how much longer we can afford the fan/alimony.  :haha:

Pink Floyd "Division Bell" was my first large concert.  I think 93?
I go to as many shows as I can in a year.  Booking Tuesday for Shiprocked!  https://www.shiprocked.com/about
This will be my 8th sailing.  I've been ruined!
I love mosh pits!  And active crowds.  Missing like 5 concerts already this year.

Off subject I know.

I just cancelled my JetBlue Flight and was given a refund.  If you paid via credit card, dispute the charge.

My flight to Croatia was cancelled, Kiwi.com, the budget site I booked through refuses to refund.
They instead tried to have me book an alternate flight at a $2k increase.
Even if money wasn't a factor, it definitely is, no way I'm going to that area in 2 weeks.

Disputed the credit card charge, we'll see what happens, but I'm not hopeful.

Most concerts are postponed and not canceled so that is likely their out.  Once new dates are set, wonder if they will give refunds if you can't attend the new date.  If the show is truly canceled then I don't see how they can keep the money.  I also think a lot of this is up to the artist or the event promoter and not TicketMaster.  TM just passes the money through to them and keeps their commission.  If the artist/promoter doesn't give the refund, there's nothing TM has to pass back to you.  Guess we will see.  I had tickets for The Who and Larkin Poe in April, Stones and Journey/Pretenders in June.  All but the Journey/Pretenders show has been postponed.

The 60's were great, Fillmore East 4.50-5.50-6.50 for 3 acts. Plus an apple in the lobby (at your own risk).

I'm suddenly wondering if any of the NHRA / NASCAR tracks are doing any refunds?  Now I'm guessing season ticket holders will be screwed...  :notsure:   Our tix were paid for back in January.  Unless by event time things are back to normal.

I would guess that season ticket holders would just get value put on to the 2021 season :dunno: ...I'm hoping that's what's going to happen with my Carlisle vending spot payment when it's canceled.

I have tickets for Randy Bachmann/Burton Cummings (from BTO) for May 14th. I am sure the show has been cancelled, but I haven't even bothered to look.

I did pay with my business credit card & I will dispute it if I am not refunded the $200+ I shelled out for two tickets!

God Bless
