I heard yesterday that the 50th anniversary celebration of Woodstock has been cancelled. Was anybody at the first one?

Interesting. The report I heard yesterday said the promoter and all involved agreed to cancel it. I guess time will tell.

I remember thinking that I'd go to Woodstock and started saving money, but then it started to rain and the icing on the cake was when I heard a NY radio station say "the New York State Thruway is jammed for 20 miles going to Woodstock" that was the final nail in my Woodstock coffin, as there was no way I was going to leave my 58 Dodge on the side of the road in America and walk 20 miles in the rain. In retrospect, I shouldn't have been such a pussy. LOL I saw an original poster decades later and the price for the whole shebang was $8.00 if I recall correctly!
