That would be crazy! The one I had was the only 4-speed car I've ever owned.

I think stock they were a pretty good car actually.
Whenever I consider the 340 idea I remember Don Carlton dying in his Hemi one and it takes the wind out of my sails.

My first car was the 1971 Mercury Capri in the far right of the pic. Dad gave it to me and said " If you can get it running it's your's. Well I got it running and sold it right away and bought the 1970 Road Runner with a little help from my Grandmother  :woohoo: )

There's only one, poor bedraggled polaroid black and white of my 58 Dodge Crusader 2 dr ht and it wouldn't scan, so I searched for one off the 'net. Now to see if I can get it to attach!

Gotta Love those Canadian hybrids. A Dodge with DeSoto side trim!

My first car in `76 was a `68 Chevelle SS 396 4 spd car but unfortunately the PO pulled the big block for himself and stuck in a 307 and powerglide to sell it. Looking back it was probably better I had a cool looking that wasn`t  very fast car as being a dumb kid I would have just wrapped it around a tree if it still had the 396. Don`t think I have any pics of it anywhere, sold it after a year to go to college. First car I bought new in `83 was a Mustang GT, 302, 5 spd all black, fun little car. I bought my Barracuda in `82 which I still have.
