Here's what the radio frequency interference sounded like on a local area FM station and the LED's I bought and am returning.

That's more than little interference!  Dang, that's crazy.  :o

Could it have to do with the light switch being attached and ground to the dash frame that the radio is also grounded to?  Pretty sure they make Noise Suppressors that can help reduce that hum interference.

After a Google & YouTube research I found this is more common than one would think, even when swapping them out on newer vehicles. Most of the places I looked referred to the "cheaper" ones (my headlights weren't cheap).

The fix is clamping a bunch of Ferrite cores on power wires. One person used almost all from his pack of 20, another even put one on the antenna wire. That didn't solve the issue 100%, but it was good enough for the ones I read.

In my experience, noise suppressors are generally not very effective- I would definitely focus on ensuring good, solid ground connections for each system, and isolating the power supply to the radio with a relay and diode.  Use the ignition on +12V to activate the relay.
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy horsepower and that's kind of the same thing.....

Thanks for the suggestion but they're already returned.
