Intake - paint or no?

The original slant 6 manifolds are painted engine color - should I keep the new Offy intake raw or paint it? I'm on the fence. The headers are high temp coated in a cast iron/steel color.

I chose no on mine in 2011, and now I kinda wish it was painted. Partly because the blue thermostat housing sticks out like a sore thumb. Nothing you have to concern yourself with though.

I would think in the long run that the paint would be the better option.  Dirt and grunge like to stick to unpainted surfaces. 
Paint looks more original and protects the metal.

Most people tend to leave aftermarket intakes in a natural color to highlight they are not stock. A cast aluminum gray or even clear will keep this appearance intact. If you want it to look stock and inconspicuous, then paint it so it looks original.

If you want a stock "stealth" look I would paint it but otherwise either leave it or paint/powdercoat a cast silver.

Josh made a great point, so coating was a must. A couple other good points too, so I decided for the factory/semi-stealth look.
