Hey folks!  Hope all are well.  I fired up the Barracuda last weekend for the first time in over a year.  She was a bit cranky but she eventually came alive.  Today I attended a small, local car show in town and was one of just two Mopars - there was a '57 Coronet which looked really sharp.  Here's just a few pics!  Hoping to "play" with the Cuda a bit more this year, finances pending of course...!

Cheers folks.

In Canada, that Coronet was called a Custom Royal. My dad had a '58 and they were fast for their size and weight. Nice cars!  :bigthumb:

That is a sweet cuda!  Glad you still have it.

I dunno about the Canadian market specifically, but the Custom Royal was a trim level for the Coronet in the mid-50's.  It was Coronet, Lancer, and then Custom Royal, in order of least to most optioned.  I want to say the Custom Royals had record players, if I recall...

Anyways, my '56 (not pictured here) is a base Coronet model, hilariously made MORE rare with the "radio delete" option.  Some day I'll get around to adding a radio...  :D  I believe the 57 I showed here was also a Coronet, but I want to say that year, the Custom Royal became it's own model.  I'd have to look it up again though - it's been a while.
