Digging through my shop trying to eliminate things I'll never use on my 70RT project (it has the goldmine 2229171 rebuilt and ready). These were in a bunch of parts that I bought years ago. Pretty sure the 1187 is for 71 and up. Looking forward to feedback so I can do some thinning out. If anyone has any need, shout.

I've sold a couple 1187 cores over the years, I think I got around $45 each for them.

The lids with the correct writing on them can bring good money.

avatar_Cuda Cody @Cuda Cody this is the lid on the 1187, albeit pitted a little. Ola asked me to verify. The other one is already pictured in this thread.

The ones that are OEM for the era and sought after have a call-out saying use only J1703 brake fluid.

Anyone know what would be correct for a `72 with manual discs (if that was even an option)?

I'm pretty sure it was an option.  Sorry to say I'm not as well versed in 72-74 options as I should be.  The early to mid 70s Mopar manual disc MC looks a lot like the 3461187 casting one, but off the top of my head I think its casting number is 2229271.
Edit-here is one on eBay
