Is it even possible to get a decent dash pad today (May2025) without having to pay 3 K for it from Just Dashes? Anyone know of any alternatives ? Im to the point Im just ready to put a  dash cap on it and paint it. My choice of options is narrowed down further because it burnt orange dash with AC.Not the most produced color option.

Use the "Search" feature on the forum toolbar and search for "ABC Moparts".  At least a few forum members have used ABC Moparts and indicated they were happy with the results.  I think there almost half the price of Just Dashes.

ABC Moparts and Just Dashes are all tje options I have read for awhile now.

ABC Moparts was at Chrysler Carlisle this year with a 1970 Challenger dash pad, No A/C.  The shape of the pad was closer to original compared to what I've seen from Just Dashes.  The examples I've seen from Just Dashes always appear way over stuffed IMO.  ABC Moparts pad at the show was around $1500 without a core to trade in.  Ugh!  I wish I would have taken a few pics of it

Here's an old thread .... I think it was around 2020 when I had a company in EL Paso, TX do mine . . .Think it was called "The Dash Pad Factory"
Not sure if they're still around, but you can check.
I was happy with everything except the Challenger badge on the right side was kind of cheesy .... so I replaced it.

Run away from anything from El Paso, they have gone through at least 10 names.
Many horror stories, do a search before getting burned.

No way I'd spend $3k, very rarely do any fit like original.
Next time I'm doing this:

Mine is at ABC Moparts now, should be done sometime in September. I was able to see one of his dashes in person which helped out, and the owner is a heck of a nice guy on top of it.

I have a pad at ABC Moparts that should be done in the next month  or so.

There's a blue challenger in MCG last month with an OE restoration..And the horrible fit/stitching of the dash pad really stood out.. I'd be sick to spend that kind of money and get those results... I've seen quite a few of the latest offerings and it seems hit or miss with overall fitment.. Get it installed quickly for issues that may arise to see if you can live with it... They always look great off the vehicle until it get bolted in...

I got so tired of looking for a reputable pad supplier. My local upholstery shop did this for me for $730.00. On my original steel frame this pad was in really bad shape to start and was missing a lot of the foam . So I am happy with it overall is it perfect ? no, but IMO probably better than a lot out there.

Not bad, and you saved a bunch, probably $250 on shipping alone.

Colored pads are harder to come by and are  painted at least with this one the color is in the material. I thought it was pretty cool he was able to put the stitch in there. If you look close there is also a stitch above the gauges he has to do that to make the material work . I will just call it a "custom pad" :)
