Would somebody please tell me and show me a picture of what is supposed to be the correct tire jack for a 1970 Challenger RT ?

Unfortunately that website has issues...I get a forbidden entry page when trying to access any of the links. Any other suggestions?

Here area few pics.

great thanks...I verified this by watching vanishing point (1971). When Kowalski got a flat tire in the desert, I remembered he dug out the car jack...spot on with your pictures, so I am going with that.

Thanks again

Originals will have a date code on the jack...In this case 9F translates to June 69...

Hi, older post I know, but...
My 70 R/T original jack is Black not the grey as in the pictures.
The car is a Oct. 4 69 build...make a difference?

I cannot find anything other than grey on the jack, not repainted at some point.
So, is Black also correct?

Thanks

The last digits of the part number on the Challenger jack hook is 102.
100 is chrome bumper Cuda, 101 is rubber bumper Cuda.

Marksmopar1

Yes, I have the 102 hook for my Challenger....
But, I am interested in the color of all jack components for restoration.

My jack was/is Black...base and hook... I am reading here grey?
I likely will go black because I believe this is correct on my car.

Build date Oct.4 69. Maybe an earlier date has something to do with black color?
Curious about correctness.

 Good question! I've only seen gray 1970 jacks but anything is possible in the E-body world.

Marksmopar1

 Yes, so true!
I know this one was black.. but I am curious Grey/Black what is the thought out there.
I am not going crazy gold certification or anything like that. This is just an easy detail that could be done correct so I figure why not get it right, or try to ..lol
  Thanks!

I have a January 70 LA build with a black jack too.

My 9/70 SPD 71 Challenger had a black base and mechanism, grey hook, and T-style post.  My 5/71 SPD 71 Challenger is the same.
