Change heater core steps

The motor plate gets bolted to the body with the three 7/16 nuts...that's a good enough ground.
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I had a similar experience with a Pep Boys part, and it was a "good name" part.....

I think they are all made in some sweat shop in china now and their tolerances are not great.  Finally found one that fit well enough without having to reweld.

The hardest part of the whole job on a non-AC car, IMHO , is dealing with the control cables from the heater controls.

Did mine a few years back and for the life of me cant get the mix cable to work right.  GRRRRRR.

And my back hurts too much to climb under there again now.  LOL

Since its a nice weather car most of the time, not worried about it.
