Convertible Back Seat Boot Strip Questions - 70 Challenger

Made a mistake and had the upper rear seat covered before figuring out where the boot attachement strip goes. Strip was missing when I got the car years ago, so I do not have a reference to install the strip.

Main question is: where does the seam on the seat cover go in relation to the aluminum strip? Does the seam go under the strip? or stay out of the strip forward?

Any pics would be appreciated.
