SMS green headliner sample arrived today.  A shade darker than original sun-hidden piece, but so very close and the pattern is remarkable.  I guess I can't complain about the price, either.  Now to decide whether to order it pre made or just the fabric.  Suggestions?  Ninth e-body. First rodeo.
Their V1F Green Boar Wide Seam vinyl top was ordered last week, so only a few weeks to wait (wink).

The "hole" pattern does look dead nuts on....I wouldn't say the colour is "spot on" but it is green  :dunno: . Did you ever ask Legendary for a colour sample out of curiosity ?

If it were me, and I had my mind set on using the SMS fabric, then I guess I would lean towards having them sew it up as well...that way if something goes wrong, you haven't wasted money on the fabric, they would obviously have to cover the cost if they mess up.

If you have another company get involved in sewing it up, and a mistake is made....you would be out the $$$ :dunno:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I would let them sew it up, by the time you bring it to and pick it up from and pay there labor rate you would be money ahead. and as mentioned if it;s not right, it's on them.  I do the same thing with auto glass, they make a mistake it's on them. cheep insurance policy!   :alan2cents:

Material looks right on. Ha, ha, we had an issue with Acme yesterday. A customer of mine was in a panic for a Caprice headliner so we had them air freight one to us last week and he came in yesterday morning and sonofagun they missed sewing in one section. So mistakes can happen to any company and if you stick with the one supplier they will make it right for you.
