Has anyone had experience with the dash covers that glue on over the existing trashed dash pad?

I just a quote from Just Dashes and they want $1,250 plus shipping, and 4 MONTHS to do the job. That is ridiculous on both the price AND time frame!

I see the glue on covers for around $200. I would like to try this and see what it looks like. Pics if you have done it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Price doesn't seem all that crazy. My restored dash pad was $1,000 four years ago, $1,250 seems about right. I can't speak for Just Dashes though, I went through Roseville.

Dash caps look like dash caps, it depends on the overall quality of the car you are trying to build. If you want something that looks 80% that most people won't notice, caps are a great way to go. If you want the car to look "right", a dash pad is best. I went through the same debate before pulling the trigger on the pad.
