I am trying to get my rim blow horn to work.

First I need to understand how it is supposed to work:

Do the exposed copper strips on each end of the switch have to make contact with each other in order for the horn to sound (this completes the ground)?

Even if both ends of the rubber switch have an exposed copper strip, how does squeezing the rubber switch at any point inside the circumference create the necessary ground?

Here is a picture of mine.

squeezing the rubber strip will contact both strips so it will ground the circuit  :bigthumb:

Thx Chryco.  I assume it works best if I squeeze the rubber as close to the bottom spoke of the wheel where contacts are?  Should it work as effectively if I squeeze the rubber strips at 10 and 2 o'clock.

Chryco Psycho

It should work anywhere as the contact strips go all around the wheel  :bigthumb:
