Location of metal clips on the top of the door panel

I understand it's either 1 or2 clips that attach near the top of the door panel and help to keep it tight.
But where do they go? Help!

On these three tabs, but typically I only see one in the center...

I haven't tried installing yet, looks like it can be put 1 of 2 ways; the dog leg points untoward the window or downward towards the inside of the door panel
Which way?

You'll see they only fit one way because of a molded support on the panel and the groove cut in the clip.
