Are there any seat track rebuild kits available? My 73 tracks have most of the inner bearings, plastic u shaped pieces missing. As a result, the upper and lower tracks move around a bit and do not seem very safe. From what I've seen, my only option may be to find another used set or buy new repros?

I've never heard of it  :dunno:  You can get new reproduction seat tracks pretty reasonable.  :bigthumb:

Do you have a recommended source?

You can get them just about anywhere...Here they are at Mega Parts http://www.megapartsusa.com/proddetail.asp?prod=205%2DST7074E%2DL

They are also available from PG Classics which Roseville sells for quite a bit more money. :alan2cents:

How many plastic pieces o you need ? This is what I have.  Pm me if interested

What's supposed to be inside them? Mine are gutted, nothing but the top and bottom sliders...

That set needs two more small ball bearings .then you could fix one track. If all you have is the metal pieces, you should just buy new tracks.
