Just wondering as I've seen both offered for sale.
Are the door and quarter water vapour barriers supposed to be plastic or coated paper??

How does it attach to the door?

They had some sort of white caulking that hopefully another member can identify and also some black tape that is being repro'd.

Black duct tape and 6mm plastic sheeting and a razor knife and most any caulking and you'll be on your way.

For originality, the factory used 2" wide black paper masking tape. You'll see that tape used in a few other places like under the passenger side carpet to hold down the console light wiring. The caulking I used comes in a long rope. White colored and sold at most big box stores and hardware stores.

Clear plastic and some 3m double sided industrial tape.
