Anyone have a source to have the pistol grip made out of real wood. Trying to find someone to make the grip out of padauk to match my dash and console. Paid idle hands 2 years ago and never got them and he doesn't respond to email any more. Saw some posts from over 5 years ago on some of the other forums, but users don't seem to be active anymore.

It took awhile,  but Nick at https://idlehandswoodwork.com/index.html came through for me about 1.5 years ago.  This is what it looks like installed.  These are all hand made,  expect a minimum of 6 months wait.

Unfortunately tomorrow will be 2 years from idle hands and he hasn't answered an email since June

Just a thought. Try to find someone local who has a CNC type machine that can work with wood. Use an existing pistol grip shifter for a pattern and make the shavings fly. Kind of like a 3D printer type application.
