Factory tach with MP wiring harness?

Searched and saw info relating to Dakota gauges, but looking for info on using the factory tach with the Mopar Performance wiring harness.

Is there a recipe to get a signal from the MP harness to control the factory tach?
Or maybe mod the factory tach guts to something electronic to accept the newer signal?
