Just bought my first mopar 2 days ago. Tried to buy this car 20 years ago but owner decided not to sell it. It was sitting in the same spot when I got the message. 1970 340 4 speed. Got it for 10k.
Hoping to have it up and driving soon.

It seems the seller has not kept up with E-body prices. Good luck.

Congrats.   Looks like a good score for $10k.

Wow. An A66 car in that apparent condition for 10k. Typically the 10k cars come back from the dipper or sand blaster as a bumper and a set of keys. Nice score!!!

Sweet!   Thanks for posting the fender tag.  I would be willing to bet there will be a build sheet in your seats somewhere.

More pics when you get a chance!

Cool car and awesome price.  :welcome:

Got home from work today and finally got time to look for the numbers. All numbers matching except for the engine. The engine has the same 0B but a different serial number.
And yes I even found the build sheet in the seat.

I think you mean you stole it for $10K :foul:

So if anyone has the vin 0B201664 I have your 340 block 😉
The interior is cleaning up quite nicely too...minus the smell

:welcome: aboard. Very nice !
When you replace the carpet and insulation the smell will go with it. Fabrics and insulation absorb odors.

Well according to the build sheet decoder....the build sheet I found in the seat is not correct. . It's for a 383 RT

I call it getting lucky I guess.
I did a little homework and saw what 10k cars looked like and this wasn't even close to those.
I couldn't live with myself if I passed it up so I begged the boss for my allowance.
I know I don't have many pics up yet but it's  a solid car. It was painted in the mid 80s I believe(originally burnt orange) but everything is solid. The only thing I found is a quarter size behind right rear wheel where the paint is starting to pop.
Any thoughts of what the car should've or could've sold for?

I would say up to double being a 4 speed E-body of 70/71,  with greedy dealers asking even more. Problem is if a good one,  you won't find another so easy if you flip it.
