Welcome to the site from Ontario,  :canada:  I wouldn't say that's a fairly easy project you have there, but it IS a desirable one and I wish you luck restoring it!
In the immortal words of Jimmy Scott- "pace yourself!"

My cousin and I used to fish under the Indian River bridge, but since they've been dredging area, not getting bites that we used to get.

Hello from NY
glad to see another car get saved..

I was shoveling acorns out of the back half of the car.  Assuming that it was parked near a tree.  The front half looks better than the back half.

Ocean City has some cool car shows.  Endless Summer in the fall and Cruisin in the Spring.  I picked up a Miller Welder show special a few years back at one of those shows.

As for the jig/table, I'm getting my steel from Mumford Steel in Selbyville.  If you purchase a full length 24' steel, they will cut as many pieces you need for free.  No tax helps.  Goal would be to get this jig/table built before the end of this year.

Did you make the jig from scratch or did you find a spec sheet ?   Either way ... nice job ! :bigthumb:

I just realized I'm in the new member section. I'm going to move over to the restoration section.  I built the jig/table&stands based on a combination of other tables.  I like the idea of being able to use a creeper. As for the height, I started with standard jack stands that are 24" max height. Next, I built a table which is 18" to match up with a datum line diagram of x-6. Measurements seem to match the datum diagram and the car is sitting level.  The casters are from Fastenal. Same one's that I used to move the Barracuda around. Levelers on each corner are parts from a big box store's plumbing and hardware dept. To move the table under the car, I built custom jacks.  The front is adjustable.  The rear ones are fixed.  Next, I need to attach the table to the frame rails based on the data line diagram.
