I just discovered this site as well...

My name is Per and I live in Sweden and am currently restoring a 71 Cuda. I have a restoration thread on the cuda-challenger forum, but I'm considering moving to this site as it seems much easier to use.

Is there an easy way to migrate the posts from that thread to this site so I don't have to add it all manually again?

Hi Per,

Welcome to the site.   :welcome:

Hi Tunis! Welcome! I just read your entire restoration thread and have come to the conclusion that you are not intimidated by ANYTHING! Great job so far and I look forward to all the updates. This is going to be one sweet Cuda!

Thank you Rev-It-Up! I guess I'm not intimidated by much because I don't really know that much about auto body metal work. I just take everything one step at a time and find my own solutions to the problem at hand. Sure, at times when it was really frustrating and nothing seemed to work, I just left the tools on my garage floor and didn't return for a couple of days. But in the end it has to be done and no one else will do it for me, at least that I can afford to pay.

Welcome Per! I was thinking the same about my resto thread, but there is no way I found to move the whole thread, I started a new one here, copied my pictures and currently updating both, but I spend less time on CC now. You can always copy your posts one by one and paste them in your new thread here, or the easy way, start your new thread with a link to your old.

Thanks for your reply on CC, gonna go look for that primer this week.

:welcome: Per & congratulations to you for digging into a restoration of one of the coolest cars in history!

I'm looking forward to following your story!!  :sweden:

Thank you guys!

Soundcontrol, yes I ended up copying everything from cc. It was actually quite painless since I could chose 'modify' on the cc post and just copy/paste it here. Anyways, hope you find the primer!

Welcome to the site Per! I also, go back and forth between the sites and would like to think that there's room for both in our lives. You're doing a hell of a great job on your car- keep it up!  :bigthumb:
