Bought the car in June of 2012. Supposed to be a nice honest solid matching numbers car. Came from a Classic car dealer. It had a really slick paint job with a bunch of the usual mechanical problems. Got it home and the more I looked at it the more things bugged me. So I chased all the problems right down to a bare body shell and started over. Lived most it's life in Florida and set wrecked for many years and went to Arizona. Rust was really minimal on it. But collision problems front and right rear with poor repairs. Frame rails where fine. Aprons were junk. Shame because they were rust free. I ended up putting both quarters and rear body panel on it. All front sheet metal except hood. Hoping to have it completed the end of June for a big car show. Maybe I won't have to hear "when you going to have that Cuda done". Doing mostly a stock build with the exception of engine and exhaust. Numbers motor will be saved on a stand and a 71 340 has been built to play with. Pic of car when I bought it. Looks real good but very poor build.

Ya, you're right.... that did look good.  And it's going to look better and run perfectly when you get done!   :veryexcited:

Kinda like mine, looked great when I got it, but now I'm putting 3000 hrs and God know how much money into it.

Fantastic car and color.

The hardest choice for me was B3 or B5.

I like em both.

gorgeous '71. I know a lot of folks prefer the high impact colors but the Blues are my favorites, especially B5 as it really pops in the sun
Growing older is mandatory...growing up is optional.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

'70 Barracuda B5/B5 225 /6 3spd ... about as bare bones as they came
