George72Cuda

I have been helping my son restore, not original, 1972 Cuda over the last few years. He is in the Army and has made four deployments in the last 8 years and decided that he would never finish the Cuda. He put it up for sale, I purchased it two years ago. I work on it when I have time and when my son is home on leave he helps me work on the hard stuff.  As I stated, this 1972 Cuda is not original in most ways. This is some of the work which has either been completed or on my schedule to complete:

--Engine: By INDY CYLINDER HEAD:  6.1 Generation III Hemi stroked to a 426. Engine has 5.7 Ported Hemi Heads, and a 7 quart oil pan. It is equipped with a Fast EZ-EFI System (Fuel air spark technology) with a 1000 CFM throttle body and MSD Hemi 6 Ignition system. Engine produces 600 rpm per second, 5200 rpm produces 543.4 ft lbs of torque with 538 Hp, 6200 rpm produces 497.5 ft lbs of torque with 587.4 Hp.
--Headers: 6.4L Hemi Crate headers, Ceramic Coated thermal barrier headers, with 3.5" collectors.
--Transmission: Phoenix PT4L60ESX, Chevy 4-Speed.  It is cable driven for PRND321, uses Compu Shift-Intelligent Shifting, CSII Transmission Control System by Automotive HGM Electronics to speak to the engine computer on when and how hard to shift.
--Front Suspension: Alterkation with adjustable shocks and springs for controlled ride.
--Rear Axle: Dana 60, 410 Positive Traction with Street Lynx 4-link rear suspension kit.
--Brakes: Hydroboost by Hydratech Braking System with Wilwood  Master Cylinder and disc brakes front and rear.
--Tires and Wheels: American Racing Wheels, 20".  Extreme ZR Nitro-NT555 Tires, Front 285/30ZR20  99W, Rear 275/30ZR20 97W.
--Sub frame Connectors: Hotchkis frame stiffeners
--Interior: Dash and armrests restored by Just Dashes.  2010 Charger power front bucket seats with heat. 2010 Challenger front center console.  Vintage AC and heating. Hand brake by Lokar, cable shifter by Lokar, six new Speedhut gauges, wiring harness by Painless Performance, and Ididit steering column with cruise, dimmer, and 8-position tilt. ----Battery has been relocated in the trunk.
--Glass: All new tinted glass, all power windows.
--Lights: Rampage Halogen Headlamp conversion kit, H4, 55/60 watt bulbs. Rear has LED Sequential tail lights and LED backup lights.
--Paint: 2014 Dodge Challenger Billet Silver Metallic with AAR Satin Black trim. AAR (All American Racer) Strobe stripe is Cardinal Red with reflective "Cuda" in white and shield removed.
--Exterior: 2010 Challenger exterior electric and heated side mirrors. Side markers and door hardware has been shaved.  Door and trunk lid poppers being used.
--Body: AAR Fiberglass Hood, AAR Rear spoiler, front lower spoiler. New floor boards, new trunk floor and inner quarter panels,  new exterior quarter panels, new front fenders, and new trunk lid. Front and rear bumpers have been pulled in.
--Radiator: Champion polished aluminum radiator and transmission cooler. A Ledfoot racing aluminum shroud and 16" SPAL high performance electric fan. Included is a polished overflow tank, stainless steel radiator hose kit, and stainless steel water heater hose kit.
--Fuel System: A 19 gallon custom aluminum fuel tank from Hotrod City with internal fuel pump and Aeromotive fuel regulator and fuel gauge.

Major Items Remaining to be Purchased
--Brake lines          --Aluminum 3 1/2" driveshaft          --Exhaust system     --Horns
--Recover seats      --Purchase seat belts                      --Steering Wheel        --Shifter     --Emergency Brake

As you can see, a lot has been completed, however, I still have a lot of work left to be completed before I can put it on the road.
