Hello,

I joined the site this morning.  I was a member of cuda-challenger.com for years, but I haven't been actively working on my 'Cuda for a while now, and I hope to change that soon!  I've had my car since 2006 or so.  It's a true 'Cuda, a 74 model.  It was equipped with a 318 3 speed, but currently has a 340 and a 4 speed.  I've thought about swapping a gen II 426 hemi into it, but for half the cost, I can do a 392 gen III hemi and have much better drive-ability.  I'm really pleased with the new hemi platform, I bought a 2013 Challenger R/T new, sill have it and its been a blast to drive.  Anyway, I look forward to learning and posting on the board about my own progress. Fortunately I live very close to auto metal direct's installation center so I'll most likely let them do the sheet metal work portion of the project for me.
