Welcome from  :canada: This is a great site for help on your restoration. The process is simple enough. Take pictures, post pictures, ask questions. Good luck with it.

Welcome to the site from Buffalo, NY!   You will find all the help and encouragement you can ask for here.   I'll echo an earlier plug for buying from Roseville - they are great to do business with.  If I need it and they have it, that's where I buy it.

Looking at the pics of the removal of the undercoating is exactly where I am headed.  I see from the pic that the tool of choice is a propane torch and a scraper.  Here is my current status of project.  All I like is finishing.

Yes: I propane torch and scrape off the undercoating. After you are done that then it's time to decide if you should have the whole body shell blasted or not. If you don't deem that necessary then you have to remove the outer paint by your favorite method. I myself sand it carefully off, others use paint stripper and others blast it. Blasting is the right way to do it but only if you know of someone qualified to do it. A guy can pretty much wreck every panel on the car if he doesn't do it right.

Thanks Sheldon,  what bites is the body work is pretty good but when is I have it sandblasted then the body work will have to be done again.  The only way to get back to metal to see rust us take it all off I guess.

Hmm, yeah, how old is the paint and is there any bubbling at all? Did it have partial quarters or skins put on it in the past? If it did I personally would cut them off and install full AMD quarters if it was mine. I know it cost$ though.

This car has some great options.  I have my work cut out for me to find, buy, trade, aquire, ect  I was hoping this site was connected to some lending institution with great $$$ rates. I am sure there will be a need for that and more.

Here is a look the front end.  The metal is in better than average as I see other projects with a lot of rust.  I need to find all the places of rust and remove.  The paint has been a good protection for keeping the rust in check. Body is straight and has good lines.
