Black looks beautiful and intimidating and just plan bada$$, especially on Mopars.  I loved my '71 and it was a great driver but showed every little ding and imperfection like a magnifying glass.  In addition, after a lot of time and effort cleaning and waxing it up one little wisp of wind and dust was all over it and very visible.  It drove me crazy.
