I ordered the car the way I wanted it. It was my daily driver and I got it with the 318 and torqueflite. I also got the 3.23 sure grip, heavy duty suspension, rally wheels, light package, electronic ignition, power steering and the AM radio. It is True Blue Poly (B5) with a white interior. At that time I had a Max Wedge 426 in my '57 and I wanted something I could drive and sit in traffic with. The car has never been restored and was repainted once back in 1986. The engine, tranny and rear end are original. About 5 years ago I had the heads rebuilt and I replaced the cam, lifters and timing chain. It runs great and feels like it did back in 1972 except for the radial tires. The dealer I bought it from is long gone.
