I have a practically flawless upper console that mounts on the solid type roof liners.  It has all the light sockets, all lenses, original wiring harness connector, no rips, tears, all connectors to mount, and the metal trim is not faded or cracked. Neither is the overhead light.  It is NOT NOS, but it is OEM.  Ive had this item for years, and never found a hard liner to mount it on.  So I went with a cloth liner that wont work with the overhead console.  Again, there are no rips, tears, cracks, or fading

PM me and Ill send pics.  If you are still interested we can talk price.  Im not looking at making a mil on this part, more interested in someone doing a resto that needs the console.  But please make a reasnable offer should we get to that point:  Please dont lowball me, not interested in that game

$600.00   Plus shipping to your zip  Sorry, I can only ship in the conti US

Sorry for the delay.  I thought it would be best to go ahead and post pics for those interested.  I also got a little history behind this item

1.  Ive had this item about 4 years.  I was going to install it on my Grand Coupe  (That didnt come from the factory with one) but getting a replacement moulded headliner proved so expensive just in shipping that I dropped the idea

1.  I beleive the Challenger and Barracuda used the same console, should it be equipped as such

2.  It originally came out of a Barracuda, from a wrecked car in 1975,   The car was totalled in 73, and parts removed for sale in 73.  The guy I bought it from bought allot of parts from the guy, and other cars that he bought, that were totalled, or near so, over the years.  I bought a set of complete parking lights in 2016 and at the same time he mentioned he had a console, so I bought it from him

3.  I did notice there is crumbled area of the "waffle board" on the bottom  (where the console neets the roof) that can not be seen when mounted.  Take  look at the pics.  Sorry, I forgot that piont when I originally posted

4. Yes, I will mail it

5.  Dont know if the light works .  I beleive it does as it looks rarely used, as does the trim, indicator panel light insert and vynil. I beleive the trim screws are original as well.  The item is black

Please feel free to emails to doc9339@earthlink.net for other questions if needed

Hard to say.   Since the whole item is so "like new", I dont think so.  I know I have not.  The guy I got it from, to include me, had this thing stored like the Mona Lisa.   If you look close there is tad amount of the black vynil peeling from the side that mounts toward the roof that  I would expect with time..  49 years........

Originally it would have been covered with a suede fabric...  It's definitely been recovered...

BTW "I was going to install it on my Grand Coupe  (That didnt come from the factory with one)"   If your car is a real Gran Coupe it did come with an overhead console....

docmel

Well, when I got my car it had nothing but a bare roof on the inside.  THATS why I didnt have one
