I'm guessing you just took these apart ? Out of curiosity, was there a metal cover on the insides of the upper seat section covering the area I'm pointing to in your picture ???

Alan, the car was sold a few months ago and I took the seats apart to reupholster them about 2 years ago when I first got it.
I do remember a metal cover in those areas but gone with the car.
