Hey everyone! My name is Alan and since June of 24 I have been working on the dash vents and more recently the louvers that go inside the vents. I run a 3D print farm in Missouri and spend countless hours designing and testing parts.

The Vents ($80-$125) : Center and Small made in black ASA. Asa is weather resistant ABS (won't fade). They feature a very uniform texture on the faces, but I'm working on recreating the "leather" look. The Center vent, i've gotten rid of the metal clip and instead put two tabs sticking out for the louvers to slide on too.

The louvers ($125) : maybe they are called baffles? I've seen both ways. These are made in a combination of ways. The housing is black ASA with grey ASA on the face. The louvers (7 of them) are made in a thermoplastic and have been beefed up on the ends. The bar is laser cut mild steel. Assembled with small push-lock washers, keeping the bar hooked to the louvers.

I know for the "purists" out there, these are not 100%. I went for 95% and am always looking for ways to improve!

I'll add some pictures here as well! Feel free to message me with any questions. Like I said, I've been working on these for quite some time and truly do care to make a product to be proud of.

Impressive, there's ALOT more to 3D printing then most people realize.  Hopefully your dedication pays off!
Have you ever delved into any plastic injection molding projects?  I have not but was hoping someone would attempt to make the deluxe seat belt covers and the rubber inserts for V5 moldings.

Best of luck!

Thank you mtull! I am currently learning silcone and urethane molding. Maybe even some side marker lights!

There was a guy in PA who was supposed to send me the seat belt covers and never did...I'm always down to throw a free set to you once we like the finished product. Feel free to message me or email me alan@iprint3d.company

Great looking product.
I hope you are successful.  Might take a little while beating bushes.

Wonderful product.  What does a Complete set of louvers and vent housings cost for an A/C dash?

Are the fog light covers for Mercury Capri's printed or injection molded?  I don't recall at the moment ever seeing 3D printed pieces with a smooth surface.

They are 3D printed  8) I print them at 45° angle to hide the lines better. Lots of tricks! I didn't want to share the Capri stuff here hahah

A full set of dash vents/louvers would be $660, but if you wanted everything, we can work out a deal!
