Restored 1970 Steering Column

Restored 1970 only e-body steering column floor shift power steering

- Column tube, three diecast pieces and crush column powder coated suede texture
- Original used 70 E-body only turn signal switch, tested good.  no paper tag
- NOS ignition switch
- Original key buzzer switch tested good
- Lock out tube polished, zinc plated with gold chromate conversion, about lower 3-4" plating removed on portion for bare metal and coated with clear cosmoline
- Coupler disassembled, regreased and re assembled with reproduction black seal
- Shaft and coupler painted assembled about 1/2 way up length
- Ignition lock cylinder original matte finish in good shape, rekeyed to match the NOS door lock cylinders included
- NOS door lock cylinders, not E-body pawls, for the door lock rods, these can be changed out I may find some in my parts
- Original matte finish turn signal arm in good shape, removed for safer transport
- Reproduction lower column bushing and retainer
- Bolts in dash and floor bracket phosphate treatment by parkerizing
- Foam seals between outer and inner tube, also between shaft and inner tube

Rag wrapped around shaft to keep it from scratching on inner tube.

Everything seems to work as it should.

Will be at spaces IA 1 and IA 2 Chryslers at Carlisle.

Thats a nice job on the column. I have a 70 column that needs restoring, but I wanted to source all the gaskets/bearings and stuff needed. Do you mind if I ask where you acquired all the parts? Mine is complete and could be installed as is, still has the wheel on and no damage to be seen it just feels worn.
