70 Challenger Hood Release

 By release,  do you mean hood latch?
1970 hood safety catch is one piece as is the latch mechanism.
71 went to a multi peice for each.

Primary or secondary latch or both?

I have the secondary  (safety ) hook,  so the Primary latch is what I need . Thanks

Not mine, but this is about as good as it gets for OEM. I did see some new reproductions units, but have no idea of the fit or quality.
