looking for a distributor for my 383 in my gran coupe. My plan is to send it out to be re-curved and rebuilt.                                      Thank's Mark.

@JS29 If you don't need something concourse correct, a new Cardone 843817 single point distributor may work for you.  I bought one earlier this year after being told that the original single point distributor for my 383 was too far gone to be rebuilt.

I found it cheapest at Carid, but Rock Auto and Summit also carry them for a few bucks more.  One of these days I may get ambitious and try to swap the guts of the new distributor into my original housing, but for now it is keeping me on the road. :alan2cents:

Are you looking for the correct one or just any one that fits?

Correct would be nice, But The one I have know is all over the place with the timing lite on the damper. Timing chain is good.
