I could use the knobs that go on the dimmer and wiper switches. Anybody go a pair they'd like to sell?

Ledphoot, I think I have a couple of extra e-body dash knobs I can cut loose with. I'll check for you here in a little bit. Just want to make sure. I don't think they have the switch shaft clips tho.
Thanks,    Al

Thank you I appreciate it. They are so hard to find.

Ledphoot, Ok!, found them basically knew where to look. These are OE and I did restore them, they are ready to put on and enjoy. For a driver these will look great, not damaged or beat up, plastic and colors are real nice. If you'd like PM me and we'll discuss details of a purchase. Thanks,   Al

Do they have the clips inside, that's the hard part to find :alan2cents:

Alan,  No they don't. And you are correct the clips are hard to come by or get. The knobs I do have and are usually pretty clean and detailed. I figure at least if you can get the knobs maybe a clip can be had or even fabricated. Thanks,   Al

You've got mail.

I can use stainless steel shim material to make it fit snug without glue so there will be a press fit.

Ledphoot, Alan, did you get my PM (dissertation) I sent to you with some added info concerning the purchase? Was wondering PM me or E-mail me when you can, I can have the knobs ready to go as soon as we iron the details out. Thanks,   Al

The clips are a bear to try and reproduce successfully and a simple shim may not work. There is not a lot of give between the plastic, the shim, and the shaft of the switch, and while you can force them on, ever getting them off a gain will probably leave the switch or the knob damaged.  Maybe a dab of silicon will hold them on without making them nearly impossible to ever get off again.

Alan, we seem to be having a hard time touching down with each other. I left my home phone number down where I thought that it might get to you. If you Personal Message me we can iron out details. Let's make this happen. Thanks,   Al

Alan, Hi, really happy you found some NOS knobs they sound like they will really dress up the dash. NOS is pretty hard to find you lucked out. Thanks for having an interest in the ones I have.
That makes these available to any other enthusiast out there looking for OEM used in great condition and no damage (see pics) above. PM or E-mail me for interest. Thanks,   Al

Was doing some research for the heck of it for universal radio knobs. I found that there are clips for some of these knobs like our dash knobs. I'm not sure if these may work for us but they might be worth a try, cheap enuff. Check these out guys.  Thanks,  Al
