I thought they made them for the smallblocks in the early to mid 1970s (back when I was in high school). Maybe it was just for the big blocks. But I am looking for a set of the cast aluminum valve covers sold by Direct Connection back in the mid 1970's. Anybody have a set? or can confirm whether I am hunting for a unicorn?

Thanks, Steve

I don't remember those ones  somebody must have an old catalog?

I just did a Google search and couldn't find any....but I was reminded of these ugly ones :barf:

I recall seeing the stamped direct connection covers for small blocks, but not die cast aluminum.
There was a die cast aluminum for the turbo cars.
