I'm looking for front and rear drum brake cylinders, and a drum master cylinder for a 1970 barracuda.  But these components were also found on B-bodies during 1970-1972. I'd prefer ones in need of rebuilding,  since I'll want to tear down whatever I find, for inspection, any way I slice it.  But pretty ones are welcome, too.

I have two rear wheel cylinders.  I disassembled one for your review.  I believe the casting number is correct for mid 1970 and later for both ten and eleven inch rear drum brakes (please double check, it's been a while since I researched the topic).  $20 + shipping.  Please send a PM if interested.

Mr Cuda

I have drum hardware I won't use.
I cannot put drum on anything and hope to drive it.
70-71 front wheel cylinders have a rectangle mount boss.
I would think all cores would require being sleeved. Used ones were pitted 40 years ago, which is why they were replaced.
Now ask me why I have them?

@Mr Cuda if I understand you correctly then the front wheel cylinder I posted a picture of would be incorrect for an E-Body?  If so, thank you for confirming.

Mr Cuda

mtull the football boss was pre 69 11" front. Not sure but i think 10"
was rectangle.
I saved those because they got hard to find in the low repop years

Mr Cuda

A sample of stuff. All northwest, no pitting.

I need to inspect the rear backing plates to confirm which style I want.  I'll try  to do this, later today, when it warms up some more.  Football or square.  This is on a 1970 8-3/4 rear end car.

I believe @Mr Cuda was referring to front wheel cylinders. not the rear with regard to the two different styles.

No, it doesn't appear to be the "football style".

Mr Cuda

Rear only comes one way, with the "mouse ears" shape in the backing plate.
Fun fact, you have a mid to late production date build with those mounting bolts.
And likely a 346×××× wheel cylinder is correct for it.
I hope its all 11"

Thanks for that tip, Mr Cuda.  No, I think its 10-drums in the rear.  I may have to go pull the wheel and look, now.  And I believe the car is an early production date, Oct/Nov 1969.

I just measured the rear drums, and lo and behold, they're 11-inch drums.  For months, without even confirming, of course, I thought they were 10-inchers in the rear like some 318 E-bodies I've worked on.

How in the blankity-blank did you know they were 11s?  I'm seriously impressed.  Good call and well done.

Well, shoot.  It looks like I need the press-thru mounting bolts of the M/C to the cowl.  If anyone has a dimensions on these bolts, I may be able to find some alternates.
