Chilton’s manual...why did it stop at ‘72 for e-bodies?

A friend who is a mechanic wants to pick up a Chilton's manual for my 1973 Barracuda. Problem is, the manual is Barracuda/Challenger 1965-72. Why would they stop it there and not '74? Would this manual be helpful to me even though my year is not included?
TIA

Probably not enough changes to update after 72
I would recommend the factory manual instead , there may be a copy in the reference section here , it is more complete

Agree with CP on getting a factory manual.  The Chilton that covers 65-72 will include A body as well as E body and not have great detail on either.

THere are some places to sell vintage books, reproduction books, or you can get them as a disc.

For me the most important part of a manual is the correct wiring schematic. You want the factory manual for the correct year for that. I believe Faxon has reprints.
