Testing a pic & pic in msg

Testing how pix work.  Seems simple enough.

How do I post pix to a private message?  It doesn't appear to be the same.

I don't believe you can send pics via personal unless you provide an actual link of where the picture is hosted at. 
Usually in pm's most folks just exchange email's. 

But I could be wrong.  Just my experience so far.

Yup, no pictures in PM's. The link method is a good idea if the pic is hosted somewhere.

I always end up just exchanging e-mails.  It works since I'm not that great with computers.  I'm still using a digital camera for pics.
