383541, is last of my vin. It is a 1971, but was wondering if anyone close has a build date on their car? I'm almost suspecting late build date on mine given the number of unique things about it. Trying to bracket ballpark portion of year mine was made.

Thanks!

I take it you don't have your cars fender tag, which includes the scheduled build date on it, or the sticker on the drivers door which has the actual month of build?
My 71 was built in October and has a vin of 199xxx so not at all close to yours. But my educated guess is late in the month of May of '71 for yours.
I'm sure others can nail it down closer.

More detail about what your "unique things" car helps.
The number you gave is just a small part of the vehicles' info and only gives scheduled ( not actual) build date and/or order number.
These numbers don't always coincide with the actual, real build/production/delivery dates of individual cars.
The more info you give us, the better we can try to answer your actual question.

May 7 production date? Where did you find it?

No I don't have the fender tag. I'm working back towards getting a reproduction, as I did not have the drivers door factory for the car either.

I also don't have the build sheet of it, I did see scraps of the remnants in the rear seat but wetness and mice put it into 1/8 inch pieces.

Now we are finally getting the real/rest of the story. Better to gt it up front, saves everyone wasted time so they can get to getting the info you need.

The car is not anything special, or intending to be anything special. If that is what you are referencing...
Other than being a real RT that I am trying to restore into a daily driver, with modern upgrades.

Put it back together.  It's only a small puzzle.

As usual, @Culvers  has some information that no one else seems to have.  Quite impressive.

Trust me I wish it was possible, but its not. Its less than confetti, or I would have tried.  I tried to scavenge anything off it I could which was nothing.
