if it was assembled on 050 that would be February 19, 1975
if it was cast on 270 that would be before February 19,1975 & would indicate 270th day of 1974 = September 27, 1974

Reading through this quickly, thought I'd check a couple master cylinders I have.

The first one I can't make out a number or anything to ID it.
The second is a casting number used by my old work, so it's aftermarket Raybestos or NAPA.
The 3rd is something mid 70s like maybe a Volare/Aspen.
