I just replaced my drums with discs.  Is there any market for front drum parts or should I just scrap them?
Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.

I don't think the market is huge if it's there at all.  I was looking for some 11.5 inch front backing plates for a while and someone gave me their set to get it out of their garage.  That said, they don't repro those yet so if you need them you need them.  Also, I've heard some people with cars strictly for the track like them for a bit of weight savings.

I think there is an aftermarket disc brake setup that uses drum spindles, that maybe the only purpose for keeping them, but you'd think most people doing that conversion, would already have their own :dunno:

I say chuck them....I have a set I will be getting rid of too
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I sold a full set to guy earlier this year. He wanted them for spares parts fearing this stuff could become hard to get. Not everybody converts to disc brakes.
